Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in anxiety, depression, and the unique emotional challenges that come with navigating cultural identity and family dynamics. I work with children as young as 6, teens, and adults up to age 65.

My approach to therapy

I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Theory, blending structure with warmth to meet each client where they are. For my younger clients, I often incorporate play-based and art-based techniques to make therapy feel safe and natural. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — healing looks different for everyone, and I'll adapt my methods to fit your life, your values, and your goals. I also bring a culturally sensitive lens to every session, recognizing that our backgrounds shape how we experience — and express — our emotions.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask questions, but I'll also make space for you to ask me yours — I believe transparency builds trust. For children, I often include a brief parent check-in before meeting with the child one-on-one. There's no pressure to share everything at once. My goal is simply that you leave feeling seen, comfortable, and with a clear sense of what working together could look like.
